These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Science Editorium, operated by Zoran Dinev ("we", "us", or "our"), accessible at scienceeditorium.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Science Editorium provides AI-powered tools to assist academic researchers in writing, editing, submitting, and promoting their manuscripts. The tools are designed as decision-support aids. Outputs should be reviewed by the user before use and are not a substitute for professional editorial, legal, or medical advice.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
You must create an account to use the tools. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for abuse, fraud, or activities that harm the service or other users.
Free plan: 5 tool runs per month, 1 project, last 10 runs saved. No credit card required.
Researcher plan: Unlimited runs, unlimited projects, full run history. Billed monthly or annually. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Customer Portal, accessible from within the app. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Outputs generated by the tools are produced by large language models and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before use. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.
You retain ownership of any content you input into the tools and any outputs you generate. We do not claim any rights over your content.
The Science Editorium name, logo, website design, and tool interfaces are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Science Editorium is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to paper rejections, loss of data, or missed deadlines.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
